5. What road projects are happening in and around Three Lakes in 2024?

There will be several town road/street projects happening this summer/fall.  Road maintenance (crack filling, patching, and applying a single layer of chip seal surface with fog seal) will be done on Halverson Road and Steve Javenkowski Road.  Road improvements (pulverizing existing surface, adding a base course, creating acceptable drainage, pavement construction with some asphalt curb in areas, storm sewer, and ditching; tree removal may also be necessary) will be done on Anderson Street, Green Bass Road, Cranberry Lake Road, Rogers Road, and Maple North Drive. Postcards will be mailed to residents in May to their address on file with the Oneida County Treasurer.

As of April 1, 2024 the Wisconsin DOT Whitefish Lake inlet culvert replacement project on STH 32 is scheduled to begin in the fall, immediately after Labor Day. The roadway will be closed for a duration of 60 days during the project with a proposed detour route of USH 45 to USH 8 to WIS 55.  More information can be found HERE.
