Medication can be dropped off by appointment.  You must call 715-546-2211 to schedule a time when the office administrator or the on-duty officer is available.  Typically the Three Lakes Police Department participates twice yearly in the nationwide Prescription Drug Take Back Day when you can dispose of medication without an appointment.
