Stakeholders in what is being called the “Three Lakes Model” met last week to see what’s next in the effort to get high-speed internet to its residents.
Members of the UW-Extension’s Office of Broadband Sustainability delivered the message that a one-size fits all solution to getting broadband in rural areas is not likely. But they pointed to the success Three Lakes has had in getting a number of private providers to bring high-speed to the region.
